Postsecret touches my little heart there are a lot of them in me.
A weekend without Angel B. is relaxing in a way but I miss his simple deeds that makes me feel like a princess... =(

After living in our roomy apartment for more than a year, I guess it's time to move on. I told my mom that even if the building and our neighbors suck, I still feel kind of sad. Not because of the place but just the feeling of moving and realizing that we don't have a permanent home that we can call our own.
When I was growing up, we only moved twice. The first one was a house that my dad bought. We were there for 8 years and had to move to my granny's house which is only a block away because my mom is working here in the U.S and we needed a motherly figure at that time. That move was good in a way because from living on a 2 bedroom house, we were living on a 4 bedroom, 2-story house. We were there for about 5 years until we moved here. And so far, we've been on 2 apartments in 2 years. =(

About 2 years ago, I was jobless for about a couple of years. And when I finally landed a job, I only had the privilege of taking a vacation on January but didn't take them right away and a week ago, I finally did!
After working 7 days a week, I decided (my boss forced me...) to take a week long vacation. I had time off from 2 of my jobs and did some sort of last minute planning with Angel B.
We went to Reno on the first weekend with my brother. With the 2 of them together, there was never a dull moment. It was really fun but if they're together for too long, they argue a lot and I am very entertained by it. On our drive there, we were at the mountains so I could see more stars and it was so beautiful. I haven't been star gazing since I got here in America. We got there around 1 AM and didn't sleep until 7 AM.
On the second weekend, we were off to LA. Thanks to Angel L., she let us stay at her sister's crib and saw her cute neice, Samuning. She has the nicest most hospitable family. I wanted to drop by High Voltage tattoo to see the cast of LA Ink but thanks to the traffic, we didn't have the time to go there. The best part about LA was being alone with Angel for the whole weekend just relaxing and walking around.
Since he enjoys driving, the 6 hour drive was fun. We stop on every rest area that we saw and lay on the grass and play around and drink coffee.
It's hard getting used to work though. I am very lazy and don't care about my surroundings.

The other day when I was feeling really down, I called Angel and left his laundry in the machine and was at my front door in 15 minutes. He helped me clean my room and even offered to do my laundry, then we had coffee at Starbucks in East Palo Alto and went window shopping at Office Depot and Best Buy because I wanted to buy a wireless mouse for my laptop. Then he asked me which camera I wanted and he looked like taking a mental note.
Today, he saw me texting and he was amazed on how fast I do it so he said that he will get me a new phone, the one with "qwerty" keypads. Then I said, "so what about the camera?" and he thought that it would be a better idea. Then I asked him when we're getting it and which one we're getting. He smiled and said, "don't ask anymore questions, it's supposed to be a surprise!"

I'm a la turista today. After living in America for almost 2 years, particularly in the Bay Area, I finally went to the Golden Gate Bridge with Angel B and my brother. It was cool. I saw a Jollibee in 4th and Howard and have been bugging Angel we go eat there before we go home. When we got there, the chairs were upside down on the tables and it was empty, on the door said that it's closed, and a piece of paper that says they're openning on the 12th. Drats!
I was taking a shower and somehow, the song Macarena plays over and over in my head!
